When Can I Insure a Claim?

All claims are automatically insured when placed through The NL, or registered within 30 days if placed directly with an NL attorney.  

When Can I Insure a Claim? What Information Do I Need to Insure a Claim?

• Your file number or reference name
• The dollar value of the claim
• The state of jurisdiction for the claim
• The type of claim (e.g. consumer, commercial, subrogation)
• If registering within 30 days of placement, please also include
  • the name of the receiving NL law firm
  • the date the claim was placed with the attorney

How Do I Insure My Claim?
Whether you work in the Cloud or on paper, The NL accommodates your work style. Choose ONE of these options:

• Online — The easiest way to insure a legal claim is to place a claim with an NL attorney through NationalList.com. When you click ‘Submit,’ your claim will be automatically insured.
• Email — Attach a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV file) with information about your claims to be insured, and email to The NL at results@nationallist.com.
